For discount Northwest Airline tickets, use NYVEP and your discount will be applied to available fares. Go to www.nwa.com Under the Deals and News column and the Flights tab, click on "NWA Discount Travel E-Cert Redemption" which is located at the bottom. On the Flight Search screen, click Login. Enter your WorldPerks number or continue to login as Guest. Complete the Flight Search section and navigate to the bottom where you will see "Do you have an E-Cert Fare, electronic voucher or meeting agreement?". Select type (i.e. Meeting agreement (WorldFile number)) and then enter the WorldFile number (NYVEP) in the Meeting WorldFile Number box and complete your transaction. Or call 1-800-328-1111. Discounts range from 5% to 7% on published fares and 2% to 15% on "specials". Westminster Presbyterian Church Westminster is very accessible. There are two elevators in the building to all three floors, and all the restrooms have the large stalls. The sanctuary has sections of pews removed to fit wheelchairs and scooters. The accessible entrances to the building include 12th and Marquette on the street level (there is a ramp inside the door) as well as the surface parking lot entrance, which is right next to an elevator, and both of the entrances to the church from the underground parking ramp are accessible (one has a ramp and one is next to an elevator). The outside doors to the building (glass) on both the South & North sides are handicap accessible – these doors lead to a main hallway. The outside Sanctuary doors (wooden) are NOT handicap accessible…but in the aforementioned main hallway, there is a door to the Sanctuary that is accessible. Parking at Central Lutheran Church at $7.50 per day. Limited spaces. From the West on I-94 Take the 4th Street exit from I-94. (Do NOT turn right onto 3rd Avenue North.) Stay on 4th Street heading East and turn right on 3rd Avenue South. Continue on 3rd Avenue for eight blocks until 3rd Avenue veers left at the Convention Center. Follow 3rd Avenue, and Central will be on your left. The entrance to our parking lot/ramp will be on your left, immediately after the church. From the West on I-394 Take Downtown Exit (12th Street), and follow 12th Street South to 3rd Avenue South. Turn right onto 3rd Avenue South, which is just beyond the Convention Center. Central will be on your left. From the South on I-35W Follow Downtown Exit signs to the 11th Street exit, and follow 11th Street to 3rd Avenue South. Turn left on 3rd Avenue South, and go one block until 3rd Avenue veers left at the Convention Center. Follow 3rd Avenue, and Central will be on your left. From the East on I-94 Take the 11th Street exit from I-94, and follow 11th Street South until you reach 3rd Avenue South. Turn left onto 3rd Avenue South, and go one block until 3rd Avenue veers left at the Convention Center. Follow 3rd Avenue, and Central will be on your left. On August 1, the I-35W bridge over the Mississippi River collapsed. Here is the new route to reach Central. We encourage you to allow extra travel time due to possible traffic delays. GETTING TO DOWNTOWN Getting to downtown is easy - the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport is just 15 minutes by taxi from downtown Minneapolis and 30 minutes by light rail. To hop aboard the light rail, simply follow the ground transportation signs to the lower level and take the tram to the transit station. Purchase a ticket from the vending machines and take the escalator down to the train platform. More on ground transportation
